CBS Sportsline’s Pete Prisco is out with his annual Top 50 NFL Players list, and three Eagles made the list - RB Brian Westbrook, new CB Astante Samuel and Guard Shawn Andrews. Here is the breakdown on three Eagles:

20. Brian Westbrook, RB, Philadelphia Eagles: It’s scary to think what the Eagles offense would be like without him. He’s a better runner inside the tackles than many expected and he’s good in the passing game. He’s a versatile weapon.

37. Asante Samuel, CB, Philadelphia Eagles: He had a big season at the right time, cashing in on a huge deal with the Eagles. He’s great at playing the ball in the air, but some scouts think he freelances too much.

38. Shawn Andrews, G, Philadelphia Eagles: He’s a huge guard at 6-4, 345 pounds and he shows off that power when blocking for the run. He improved in pass protection in 2007, although the Eagles line regressed as a whole.

RB Kevin Jones still wants to come home. The Philadelphia Daily News is reporting that the back, who will have a workout for teams tomorrow, still has a desire to play for the Eagles in the 08 season. “I’m still interested in the Eagles, but the situation has to be right,” said Jones. “I’m not ruling out any team. I feel really good. I’m not in any pain, there’s no discomfort, and I’m able to make my cuts. I feel great. I can’t wait to work out for these teams. I know I can still play in the NFL.”

Jones played his high school ball at Cardinal O’Hara, and has eyed the Eagles since his release from the Lions. He suffered a torn ACL in his right knee back on December 23rd vs the Chiefs, but feels that he’ll be ready to contribute to a team this season. Jones last year ran for 581 yards on 153 carries for the Lions, and in his four year career has 3067 yards rushing and 24 touchdowns.

It’s believed that the Titans, Cardinals, Bears and Saints are some of the other teams that have an interest in Jones, who was the Lions first round pick back in 2004 out of Virginia Tech.

The Eagles are trying Winston Justice at right guard, but it doesn’t necessarily bode well for his long-term fuure in Philadelphia. The team drafted three offensive linemen this year, meaning Justice will have to show something during training camp to impress the coaches enough to keep him over a younger player.

The Eagles have high hopes for linebacker Stewart Bradley, and Philly.com is reporting that they want the second-year pro to step in and be the starting middle linebacker this season. Bradley played in all 16 games last season, putting up 18 tackles and one sack, but showed some promise in the teams final three games. He stepped in for an injured Takeo Spikes, who was released this offseason. “He went into those games and made a lot of plays,” defensive coordinator Jim Johnson said. “All of a sudden, the confidence was there. I see confidence. He can make a mistake, but he knows when he does it. It doesn’t bother him because he knows he won’t make it again.” Bradley was the teams third-round draft pick last season out of Nebraska.
